As we reflect on 2021 and how the pandemic has shined a spotlight on the gaps in IT security throughout healthcare systems, 2022 will require implementing the lessons learned.

There has to be a heavier emphasis on the investments healthcare systems are willing to back to help ensure safety from cybersecurity threats. Budgeting may prove difficult as the healthcare landscape is already strained by the impacts of COVID-19.
