BARN FIRES ARE ONE OF THE MOST COMMON THREATS TO LARGE ANIMAL SAFETY
When disaster strikes, it is almost always unplanned and unexpected. Sadly, barn fires are a large source of emergency for farmers mostly due to discarded cigarettes, faulty electrical systems, and improper hay storage.

According to the Humane Society, “Barn fires are one of any horse owner’s biggest nightmares. In just a few minutes of heat, smoke and fury, thousands of dollars of saddles, bridles, hay, grain and equipment can be lost along with the barn. That your horse could be trapped inside is almost too painful to imagine.”
