U.S. HOSPITALS BRACE FOR RECORD HIGH COVID CASES

On Wednesday, the daily Coronavirus cases hit a 7-day peak high at 258,312. Previously, the high was recorded at just over 250K back in January.

The good news is that the Omicron variant seems to have less of a chance of requiring a hospital stay for sick patients giving healthcare professionals hope for some relief.

Still, infectious disease experts caution that the surge is expected to continue following the holidays with new year’s looming.
