HVAC FAILURE CAUSES ANOTHER 117-RESIDENT EVACUATION DUE TO EXCESSIVE HEAT DANGERS
Much of the U.S. is being faced with what feels like summer’s last hurrah causing sweltering temperatures in regions where summer is typically nearing its natural end this time of year.
“FOX4 found some residents sitting outside and others still inside Tuesday afternoon as they waited to be moved to another facility. Family of one patient said she learned the facility was using an air tube inside to try to circulate air.”
Most of the patients were evacuated using city buses, while COVID-19-positive patients were transferred to local hospitals where they could be more closely monitored.
