CENTRAL U.S. THREATENED WITH FLOODING WITH MULTIPLE STORMS IN THE FORECAST
With below-average temperatures in February, followed by warmer temperatures than expected in March, the chances of repeated storms are on the horizon.

This week, the Central states have seen record-breaking temperatures that haven’t been seen as far back as the 1800s!

Accuweather.com reports, “As storm systems move into the region through late this week and tap into the warmth and a surge of moisture, thunderstorms are likely to erupt.”

As always, at CHUG, our mission is emergency preparedness, which includes severe weather. It’s imperative in the Spring months to consider inclement weather and to be prepared for the unexpected.

CHUG UPDATES: Do you and your family have a “GO-KIT?” If you ever find yourself in an emergency situation, having a “GO-KIT” can be critical. Make sure to include these priority items in case of cold weather, power loss, a lack of cell phone service, and/or water shortages.
