NURSING HOME COVID-19 CASES DROP WITH VACCINATIONS THANKS TO PHARMACY PARTNERSHIPS
Recently, the American Health Care Association completed an analysis that showed that nursing home COVID-19 infections declined 48% in new resident cases over a three-week period after their first onsite vaccine clinic.

Also considered were unvaccinated nursing home facilities in the area, which showed just a 21% decline in new infections.

As a result, onsite pharmacy partnerships are being looked at very seriously as an approach to help keep facility outbreaks under control long term.
