CHUG: Tips for Navigating Earthquakes


Earthquakes can happen anytime, and it’s important to know how to be safe during these natural disasters, whether you’re at home, in the classroom, or in a high-rise building.

If you are outdoors when the shaking starts, get into an open area away from trees, buildings, walls, and power lines. If you are indoors, it’s important to “duck, cover, and hold.”
